One of my OCs that started out as a fancharacter, Amrita of the Brood(the race of dragons in Breath of Fire III).
I realized I didn't really have proper references of her, not to mention I was kind of unhappy with the inaccuracies in my Halloween picture.. it was very out of character.
Amrita is completely mute, and I suppose she'd pretty much count as an albino. She's very short, 4'10", skinny and undeveloped. She pretty much looks like a 10-year-old despite physically being around 16. She was caught in Chrysm ore for four hundred years though. P:
This was something of a cel shading practice for me, as well, since I've mostly been doing soft, sort of painted shading lately. Was fun, even though I'm still pretty new at this. Lol. Done entirely in SAI.
really like the art ♥ it would be a bit helpful for me personally if the head part wasn't as bright as the hair line...and maybe a darker background would make her contrast more and allow more of that beauty to show~ ♪ I really like it otherwise ^ ^
Thank you for your comment~ I actually finally decided that the texture made the colors look a little too washed out, so I replaced the file with the original transparent PNG. c: Does it look better now? I know she's quite pale so the extremely light haircolor is a little tricky.
looks better it would be even better with something like dark blue/black background/nighttime scenery, but that would require more effort with an already-finished piece xD
Yeah, that looks tricky...i would suggest doing the hair outlines with a darker shade of yellow, but that might take away the actual "portrayal" of your character, but as long as you're good with the outcome of your character, that's all that counts (and then again...I didn't realize that the picture I was seeing wasn't the full-size, so it looks completely fine on the full resolution ^ ^)
I'm glad it's at least easier to make out now. xD This was mostly just to have an up-to-date reference of her with correct colors..
but I have been wanting to do a nighttime picture with one of my characters too, to play with lighting some. I guess I'll use Amrita for the sake of practice haha P: I want to get to draw fireflies. * v*
Thank you c: Hahah, you're not the first one to say that, though honestly I hadn't even heard of the character - or the game for that matter - when I created this character. Funny coincidence, I guess?
c: Hehe, you're welcome! I believe you~ Those kind of things happen all the time. Gosh, I remember one time I had an old OC and was accused of copying someone else's and I never heard of them in my life. o.o

She reminds me of Pascal from Tales of Graces~
